Sires Stakes Series Updates
Fields decided for key age group races
The fields have been decided for two of this country’s age group features - the Nevele R Fillies Series and the Garrard’s Horse and Hound 2YO Colts and Geldings Sires’ Stakes Series - following the final heats last Thursday.
Both finals will be held at Addington next month, on May 14 and 21.
Outstanding three-year-old filly Bettor Twist took out the seventh and final heat at Addington last Thursday as a $1.20 favourite to make it nine wins in just 14 starts and will likely start a red hot favourite in the Nevele R Fillies Series Final on May 14.
Also on Thursday My Ultimate Chevron upset the favoured pair of Willow Bay and Bollinger to seal a place in the Garrard’s Horse and Hound 2YO Colts and Geldings Sires’ Stakes Final at Addington on May 21.
