Precious Sara sells for $6000
An Australia buyer is believed to be the new owner of Precious Sara after she fetched more than $6000 in the latest gavelhouse.com auction.
The nine-year-old, who clocked up her seventh victory at Blenheim last Sunday, was put on the market by owner-trainer Wayne Robertson because he is about to undergo a knee replacement and will be sidelined for a number of weeks.
Bidding on the daughter of Gotta Go Cullen was at just over $3000 for a long time before she finally went for $6050.
The highest price of the 12 lots went to unraced Bettor’s Delight gelding Cool Moon who sold for $7501.
