It’s one month exactly to the 2021 running of the New Zealand Cup, on Tuesday November 9.

So it seemed only right to go back 20 years and relive the victory by Kym’s Girl in the great race . The seven-year-old was the first mare since Blossom Lady to win in 1992, and gave trainer-driver Colin De Filippi his first and so far only New Zealand Cup victory.
