What does the “red light” mean for racing?

With the whole of New Zealand now at “red” under the traffic light system there are important things everyone needs to know.

Racing continues throughout the country with no border restrictions however there are stricter requirements on course.

All people (workers and public) on course must be double vaccinated and produce their vaccine pass on entry except for those aged 12 years 3 months and younger.

There can be pods of up to 100 public people per pod on course. These must be kept separated and have their own hospitality services. They cannot mix with other pods.

Masks are required along with social distancing and standard hygiene procedures. If unwell please stay away

Covid tracer app must be scanned at all venues and please check with clubs for specific options at their venues.

This week we have racing at Forbury@Wyndham (Wed), Cambridge (Thurs), Addington (Fri), Invercargill (Sat) and Methven (Sun).
