Renwick Farms Dominion Trot

The Renwick Farms Dominion Trot is this country's premier trotting race.

Run over 3200 metres, it is a staying test with a rich history. It has been won by this country's greatest square-gaiters including two-time winner Scotch Tar and three-time champions Take A Moment, Lyell Creek and Sundees Son.

Sundees Son set a new race record when he won in a staggering 3:56.6 in 2021.

This year the Dominion will be held on IRT New Zealand Trotting Cup Day (November 12), three days earlier than its  traditional Show Day slot.

This year the Dominion will be worth $400,000.
